Maria

Practice Manager

Maria has been in the Veterinary industry for more than 15 years. She attended a volunteer program that was provided by her High School called ROP, in helping out the community but also showing helping them in the future the responsibilities of life. Since then she loved being in the field and moved herself up with dedication and love her career in the Veterinary industry. A few of her responsibilities as our Practice Manager consist of making sure our hospital equipment is functioning accurately and properly, assisting our Doctors, Technicians, and Receptionist in the examination, treatment rooms, lobby area, office work, and helping with all Client Communication and Supervising our employees to make sure everyone is comfortable, happy, and most importantly, safe!

Veronica

Technical Manager

Hi! My name is Veronica and I’ve been doing what I love for the past 20 years; helping and caring for animals. Not many people can say that, I’m one of the few that can!

When not at work, I spend my time keeping up with my sport-loving Fiancé and our two furry kids. I also spend time with my energetic, fun, loving niece or volunteering at her school. Family is important to me and I enjoy spending time and hanging out with my siblings, cousins, and friends.

In my spare time, you can find me relaxing reading a good book or out enjoying new place to eat.

One thing most people wouldn’t know about me?
“I did some modeling at the age of 13. Even though it was fun, it just wasn’t for me!”

Veterinary Technicians

Kaylee

I am Kalyee, originally from the Bay area my family moved to Patterson right after high school. Before joining working with this team I was just going to Modesto Junior College for the Vet tech program while helping care for my grandmother. Since I was a kid I have grown a love for animals and raised rabbits, dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, birds, chickens, goats, ducks, and fish. Having the desire to work with animals, I was inspired to work in the vet industry.

Some of my favorite foods are Chicken and Strawberries with sugar. Coca-Cola has also been my drink of choice. Things I enjoy doing are video games, longboarding, movies, sleep, and hiking with my dog.

Jenna

My name is Jenna and I am one of the veterinary technicians who works with your fur babies. I have lived in Newman for most of my life. Before starting at True Blue I worked a few other jobs while going to school at MJC. It took a long time for me to settle on a path but like most people in the veterinary field, I started working with animals because I love them and they have always been in my life.

I have found it to be extremely rewarding to help animals that are sick heal and get better, and of course hanging out with the occasional puppy and kitten doesn’t hurt. In my free time I love relaxing at home and watching movies or reading. I also love spending time with my family and going hiking, especially at the coast.

Adrionna

My name is Adrionna. I was born in the Bay Area and lived there until the end of my 6th grade year and then moved to Patterson that summer. After moving to Patterson I joined FFA during High School. I also did basketball my freshman year as well as lip sync my junior year and agriculture leadership for a year. As a kid I have always had a love for animals and wanted to help them. My parents have always supported me in my dreams and have motivated me to achieve them. My aunt, who I am very close to, has definitely inspired me to become a Vet Tech. She is a RVT.
She took me along with her one day to work and showed me what she does and from there I knew without a doubt that I wanted to work with animals. Before becoming a part of the True Blue family, I enrolled at MJC to pursue my passion of being a Vet Tech. I am currently focused on getting my small and large animals certificates. After completing my certificates I plan to become an RVT. My hobbies outside of work consist of spending time with family and friends and playing with my pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 rats. You can also catch me watching Disney movies. I love anything and everything Disney and go to Disneyland at least once a year. Some of my favorite foods are cheeseburgers, tacos, and chocolate milkshakes.

Rachael

Hi, I’m Rachael. I was born and raised in the bay area and moved here right before I started high school. I’ve always had a love for animals and knew I wanted to work with them at a young age, I had 2 hamsters, 3 fish and a few frogs growing up.

When I’m not working, I’m hanging out with my fiancé, and friends. If I’m not doing that, I’m usually reading, or playing on my switch.

Justiana

Hello everyone! (In dog that’s “Woof, woof!”)

My name is Justiana, but most people call me Justy. I’m a California native who was born in San Jose but grew up in Newman. I’m a recent graduate of UC Berkeley (Go Bears!). I majored in Molecular and Cell Biology. I love animals (of course!) and aspire to become a Veterinarian. In addition to working at the clinic, I also volunteer at the Newman Coop Nursery School in the mornings. I guess you could say I’m always working with little animals, both the human kind and the pet kind. In my free time I enjoy playing with my own furry friends, catching up on the latest novel my book club is reading, and roleplaying with my Dungeons and Dragons group.

Nichole

Hi, my name is Nichole. I grew up in Patterson surrounded by friends and family who always encouraged me to do whatever my heart wanted. I’ve known I wanted to work with animals in some way since I was a little kid and after looking into different options I decided on veterinary technology. I attended MJC and graduated in spring 2021 with my degree in small animal veterinary technology and my certificate in large animal veterinary technology. I’ve worked at a few different vet clinics before starting at true blue and they’ve all taught me different things and I got to meet some amazing people along the way. In my free time I enjoy doing several different things, I either attend different concerts, travel, or I’m a homebody. I’m big on enjoying life no matter how you do that.

Receptionists

Melanie

My name is Melanie and I am one of the receptionists who greet you and I help manage our Facebook page. I have been working here for a year and a half and I love my job!

I have lived in Newman for 27 years. I have been married to my husband, Greg, for 26 years and we have a son, Joseph, who is a firefighter, and our daughter, Maggie, is a special effects makeup artist.

In my spare time, I am an actress for a local community theatre group at the Westside theatre in Newman. I also enjoy baking and making jams. I try to keep everyone in the office full with the goodies that I make at home.

I have always had a love of animals and I am so fortunate to work with them on a daily basis. At home, I have 2 dogs and a chicken named Matilda, who not only lays one egg a day but also provides hours of entertainment (cluck, cluck).

Cathy

Office Assistant

I am the Office Assistant for our Offices, True Blue Veterinary Hospital and Apricot Veterinary Clinic. I have been in the veterinary field for over 16 yrs. Over the years my family has had various animals, dogs, cats, cows, pigs, chickens, and a few goats from time to time. Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t have any animals, our last one passed away at the young age of 12 years old. I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish along with our English. I grew up in the country and that is where I found the love and passion, I have for the animals that we work with. It is always a pleasure to work with your 4 legged children. I don’t mind taking a few extra minutes to talk with a client about their concerns or issues with their patients. When I am not working at the office. I love to read, garden and sew. Most of all I love spending time with my family and am very proud to be a grandmother. So please don’t hesitate to ask for me if you have any issues or need to have someone help you in your language.
