Maria – Practice Manager
Maria has been part of the veterinary industry for more than 20 years, bringing extensive experience, leadership, and a lifelong love for animals to her role as Practice Manager. Her passion for animal care began early, and through a high school volunteer program, ROP (Regional Occupational Program), she had the opportunity to give back to her community while gaining valuable experience, responsibility, and professional skills. This experience helped strengthen her commitment to the veterinary field and inspired her to continue building a career dedicated to helping animals and the people who care for them.
As Practice Manager, Maria oversees the daily operations of the hospital while supporting the entire team. Her responsibilities include ensuring hospital equipment and systems are functioning properly, assisting doctors, technicians, and reception team members, managing exam rooms and office operations, supporting client communication, and supervising staff to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive environment for patients, clients, and team members.
Maria is dedicated to creating a workplace built on teamwork, compassion, and high-quality patient care. She enjoys supporting her team, improving hospital processes, and ensuring every client and patient receives the exceptional care they deserve.

Veronica – Technical Manager
Veronica has dedicated the past 25 years to caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. She has been a valued member of our team for over 12 years and currently serves as our Technical Manager. Starting her career as a kennel assistant, Veronica worked her way up through hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine.
Her love for animals began at a young age after losing her first pet in a tragic accident. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could help pets when they need it most and ensure other families never feel as helpless as she once did.
Veronica is passionate about helping pets feel safe and comfortable during their visits while educating pet owners so they can make the best decisions for their companions. She also enjoys mentoring her team and sharing the knowledge she’s gained throughout her career to help provide exceptional care to every patient.
When she’s not at work, Veronica enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their dog and cat, and making memories with her family, especially her niece and nephew. A fun fact about Veronica is that she was a teen model! While she enjoys caring for all kinds of patients, dolphins have always been her favorite animal.

Monce – Office Manager
Monce has been a valued member of our team for over 10 years and currently serves as our Office Manager. She earned her Associate of Science in Health Science from Modesto Junior College and has grown alongside our hospital throughout her career.
Monce began her journey in veterinary medicine as a Receptionist with no previous experience in the field. As she became more familiar with veterinary care, she discovered a passion for helping animals and their families. She was later cross-trained as a Veterinary Assistant, gaining hands-on experience throughout the hospital, and was promoted to Office Manager several years ago. Her diverse experience allows her to support both our clients and team while helping ensure the hospital runs smoothly each day.
The most rewarding part of Monce’s role is seeing the transformation in patients as they recover. Whether it’s after a medical treatment, surgery, or a follow-up visit, she finds great joy in seeing pets return healthier and happier than when they first came through our doors.
Monce has a special interest in client education and leadership. She enjoys helping pet owners better understand their pets’ care while supporting and encouraging her team to provide the best possible experience for every patient and client.
Outside of work, Monce enjoys listening to music and spending quality time with her family. She has a special fondness for Maltipoos and Poodles, and one fun fact about her is that she is an only child.

Julie, RVT
Hi, I’m Julie! I was born and raised in Newman, California, where my love for animals began at an early age. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from California State University, Fresno—go ‘Dogs!—and recently achieved my goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician.
I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient while supporting the families who love them. Working in veterinary medicine has allowed me to combine my love for animals with my dedication to improving their health and well-being. I enjoy helping pets feel safe and comfortable while building lasting relationships with their owners.
Outside of the hospital, I volunteer with local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs to help improve the lives of community cats and reduce overpopulation in our area. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending quality time with my friends and family.

Veterinary Technicians

Kaylee – Lead Technician
Kaylee has been a valued member of our team since February 2021 and currently serves as our Lead Veterinary Technician. With over five years of experience in veterinary medicine, she plays an important role in supporting both our patients and team while helping ensure the highest standard of care.
Kaylee earned her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from Modesto Junior College and also holds a Diploma in Dog Obedience Training through Penn Foster. She began her career as a Veterinary Assistant, where she developed hands-on experience in a wide range of clinical skills, including laboratory diagnostics, sample collection, radiography, surgical preparation, and patient care.
Growing up surrounded by a variety of animals, Kaylee always knew she wanted a career dedicated to caring for them. She finds the greatest fulfillment in helping animals heal, watching young patients grow throughout their lives, and supporting families during both joyful and challenging moments.
Her professional interests include surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring, blood collection and laboratory diagnostics, patient comfort, and preventative care. She especially enjoys working with working dog breeds and appreciates the unique qualities they bring.
Outside of the hospital, Kaylee enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with her dogs, relaxing with video games, and participating in dog training activities. She shares her home with three dogs and several cats. A fun fact about Kaylee is that she completed specialized training to become a decoy in dog protection training, combining her passion for canine behavior with advanced training techniques.

Rachael – Veterinary Technician
Rachael has been a part of our team for over three years and serves as a Veterinary Technician. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant through Stellar Career College and is currently continuing her education through Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician program.
Rachael has always known she wanted to work with animals. Ever since she was little, she couldn’t imagine herself doing anything else. Helping animals feel better is what inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine, and she loves being able to make a difference in the lives of her patients every day.
Throughout her career, Rachael has gained experience in many areas of veterinary medicine, including preparing patients for surgery, placing IV catheters, collecting blood samples, taking radiographs, and performing laboratory diagnostics such as ear cytology, fecal smears, and fecal flotation testing. She enjoys learning new skills and continuing to grow in the veterinary field.
One of Rachael’s favorite parts of her role is providing compassionate patient care while also supporting and educating pet owners. She believes that helping clients understand their pet’s health is just as important as caring for the patients themselves. While she enjoys every aspect of veterinary medicine, cardiology has a special place in her heart.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys reading, painting, and baking. She shares her home with her two dogs, Milo, a Chihuahua mix, and Mellow, a Maltipoo, along with her cat, Legolas. And while she loves caring for all of her patients, elephants have always been her favorite animal.

Reyna – Veterinary Technician
Hi, I’m Reyna! I joined our team as a Technical Assistant in July 2025. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, and have been working in the veterinary field for the past seven years.
My experience has allowed me to work with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, laboratory animals, and livestock, which has continued to grow my passion for veterinary medicine. My favorite part of being a Technical Assistant is being able to provide compassionate care and support for our patients, especially during surgery, where I enjoy helping ensure each pet receives the attention and care they deserve.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the outdoors. I’m excited to continue learning, growing my skills, and making a difference in the lives of pets and the families who care for them.
Veterinary Assistants
Alondra -Veterinary Assistant 
Hi, I’m Alondra! I was born and raised in Gustine, California, where my passion for animals began at a young age. Growing up, I worked alongside my dad on our family dairy farm, and those early experiences caring for animals inspired a lifelong commitment to animal health and welfare.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biomedical Engineering, combining my passion for animals with innovative technology to help improve their health and quality of life. My goal is to continue my education at the Royal Veterinary College in London, where I plan to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I hope to specialize in veterinary neurology, studying the minds, behaviors, and neurological health of animals from all backgrounds. My mission is to better understand them and be their voice through compassionate, advanced veterinary medicine.
As part of my educational journey, I’ll soon be traveling to Africa, Costa Rica, and Thailand to study wildlife, animal behavior, and conservation efforts. These experiences will allow me to learn how animals live, survive, and thrive in diverse environments around the world.
When I’m not at the clinic, I work at the San Francisco Aquarium, where I help care for marine animals while expanding my knowledge of aquatic life. If I’m not there, you’ll likely find me back on a dairy farm working with cows—one of my first loves.
At home, my family includes three dogs—Daisy, Lucky, and Bailey—a cat named Pollo, and two cows, also named Daisy and Bailey. In my free time, I enjoy training my cows for shows, running with my dogs, working out, spending time with family, and exploring new places.
I’m excited to continue growing in veterinary medicine and look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the families who love them.
Catarina – Veterinary Assistant
Catarina has been a valued member of our veterinary team since August 2025. Her passion for animals inspired her to earn her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Modesto Junior College and pursue a career dedicated to improving the lives of pets and the families who love them.
One of Catarina’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is working with the wide variety of patients she sees each day. She strives to help every pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while supporting clients by answering their questions and ensuring their companions receive the highest quality care.
Catarina’s favorite animal is the cow, and at home she enjoys spending time with her dog, Daisy. Outside of work, she loves dancing with her Portuguese folklore group, which allows her to stay connected to her culture, heritage, and community.
Catarina is committed to continuing her growth as a veterinary technician by expanding her knowledge of veterinary medicine and providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient she meets.
Vanessa- Veterinary Assistant 
Vanessa joined our team in 2025 and serves as a Veterinary Assistant. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from California State University, Fresno, and is passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
Vanessa began her veterinary journey by shadowing veterinarians at an animal clinic in Madera before volunteering at our hospital. Through her dedication and eagerness to learn, she became a valued member of our team, where she enjoys caring for patients and supporting both veterinarians and pet owners.
Growing up around animals played a significant role in Vanessa’s decision to pursue veterinary medicine. She was inspired by seeing the difference that compassionate veterinary care can make in the lives of animals and the people who love them. She enjoys that veterinary medicine challenges her intellectually while allowing her to make a meaningful impact every day. For Vanessa, it is a career where she can continue learning, growing, and making a difference.
One of her favorite parts of her role is the variety that each day brings. She enjoys interacting with small animal patients and getting to know their owners, appreciating that no two days are ever the same. While she jokes that rats aren’t her favorite patients, she truly enjoys caring for all the other animals she meets.
Vanessa has a special interest in large animal surgery as well as preventative care for both small and large animals. Horses are her favorite patients, and she hopes to continue expanding her experience in equine medicine throughout her career.
Madeline- Veterinary Assistant 
Madeline has been a member of our team for the past year and a half and serves as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. She earned her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology along with a Small Animal Veterinary Technician Certificate and is passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
Over the past year and a half, Madeline has gained experience assisting with patient care, preparing patients for exams and procedures, communicating with clients, and helping create a positive experience for both pets and their families. She enjoys learning something new every day and is always looking for opportunities to expand her skills.
Madeline chose veterinary medicine because she has always loved animals and has had a strong interest in medicine. Being able to combine those two passions into a career where she can make a difference is what makes veterinary medicine so rewarding for her.
The most fulfilling part of her role is helping patients receive the care they need. She enjoys working alongside a supportive team that makes a positive impact on the lives of animals while also helping pet owners through every stage of their pets’ care.
Madeline has a special interest in educating clients about preventive care and helping them keep their pets healthy throughout every stage of life. While she loves caring for all of her patients, Schnauzers and cats hold a special place in her heart.
Outside of work, Madeline enjoys listening to music, painting, and spending time with her two cats, Nami and Vivi.
Bryan– Veterinary Assistant
Bryan has been a member of our team for the past year and serves as a Veterinary Assistant. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Environmental Biology with a concentration in Animal Health and Behavior from the University of California, Berkeley, and is passionate about providing compassionate care to every patient he meets.
Before joining our hospital, Bryan volunteered at low-income veterinary pop-up clinics throughout the Bay Area, where he assisted with vaccinating and treating cats and dogs. Today, he helps prepare patients for surgery, checks them in for their procedures, and works alongside the veterinary team to ensure each pet receives the best care possible throughout their visit.
Growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, fish, and even chickens sparked Bryan’s lifelong love for animals. His curiosity about animal health and behavior inspired him to pursue veterinary medicine, where he discovered the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and the people who care for them.
One of Bryan’s favorite parts of his role is meeting the many different personalities of the pets he cares for. He enjoys getting to know each patient’s unique behavior and helping make their visit as comfortable and positive as possible.
Bryan has a special interest in assisting with surgeries and educating pet owners about the importance of preventative care. While he enjoys caring for all patients, he has a particular soft spot for socialized and well-desensitized cats, whose unique personalities always make his day.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys staying active by exercising, playing tennis, and spending time with friends trying new activities and experiences.

Cathy – Office Assistant
She has a lifelong passion for animals, viewing them as cherished members of the family. With experience caring for a wide variety of animals, she brings compassion and understanding to her role in veterinary care.
At the front desk, she is known for her strong multitasking skills, excellent client memory, and team-oriented work ethic. She takes pride in supporting both patients and their owners, especially during stressful moments.
Fluent in three languages, she connects easily with clients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, her life continues to revolve around animals, including her dog Pixie and years of experience working with livestock.
Jaqueline – Veterinary Receptionist 
Jacky brings over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine and a lifelong love for animals to our team. She joined True Blue Veterinary Group in 2025 and enjoys helping create a welcoming experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors.
Jacky’s journey in veterinary medicine began in 2010 as a kennel technician. Her passion for animal care led her to pursue her veterinary technician education at Carrington College in 2013. Throughout her career, she gained experience as a veterinary technician, advanced into a shift lead role in 2018, and later served as a practice manager for four years at another small animal hospital. She also completed coursework through Penn Foster for her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) certificate in 2023.
Growing up surrounded by many different animals, Jacky always felt a strong connection to them and knew she wanted a career where she could make a difference. In her role as a receptionist, she especially enjoys educating clients, answering their questions, and helping provide peace of mind during their pets’ healthcare journey.
Jacky loves being part of a veterinary team where everyone works together, supports one another, and builds meaningful relationships with clients and their pets. She has a special interest in preventive care because she believes starting pets off with the right foundation can create a lifetime of better health.
Outside of work, Jacky enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dogs to the beach. She has a soft spot for Golden Retrievers and loves going fishing even though she is still terrified of fish!

Sara-Veterinary Receptionist 
Sara joined our team in 2026 and enjoys being one of the first people to welcome clients and their pets. She brings more than six years of customer service experience and nearly a year of experience in the animal care industry. She is passionate about building strong connections with clients, understanding their concerns, and treating every pet as if they were her own. Sara believes every pet deserves personalized care and enjoys helping families find the best options for their companions.
Sara chose veterinary medicine because she has always wanted to work in the animal industry and gain a better understanding of the pets she loves so much. She has a passion for helping animals that can’t speak for themselves and is dedicated to being an advocate for their health and well-being.
One of Sara’s favorite parts of her role is seeing the unique bond people share with their pets. She loves meeting new furry friends every day and enjoys being part of a team that helps keep them happy and healthy.
Outside of work, Sara loves spending time with her two-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Ellie, who is her whole heart. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games and is a big fan of all things Sanrio—especially Kuromi.

Jacqueline- Kennel Assistant
Joined our team in 2026 after first volunteering with our hospitals, where her compassion, dedication, and eagerness to learn quickly made her a valued member of the team. She now serves as a Kennel Assistant, helping provide comfort and care to our patients while supporting the veterinary team each day.
Jacqueline will begin attending Modesto Junior College in Fall 2026 to complete the prerequisites for the Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) program. She originally pursued Biological Sciences at UC Merced with the goal of becoming a veterinarian before discovering that the RVT career path was the perfect fit for her passion for hands-on patient care.
Before joining the team, Jacqueline gained valuable experience through volunteering at our veterinary hospitals as well as the Newman Animal Shelter. She enjoys helping nervous pets feel safe and comfortable during their visit and is excited to continue learning every aspect of veterinary medicine as she grows in her career.
One of Jacqueline’s favorite parts of her role is building trust with shy or anxious patients. She has a special place in her heart for dogs who may be a little scared at first but quickly show their sweet personalities once they feel safe and loved.
Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family and pets, staying active, and being outdoors. Whether she’s taking a walk or simply enjoying nature, she appreciates the peace and balance it brings. One of her biggest dreams is to one day have a small farm filled with all kinds of animals—a lifelong reflection of her love and compassion for them.
